NORTHERN RED-FACED TURTLE
Emydura victoriae

Abundant and widely distributed in northern Australia, from the Daly River in the east, to the Fitzroy River in the west.

Closely related to the yellow-faced Emydura tanybaraga.

Facial colour can be an unreliable means of identification.
