WORRELL’S TURTLE
Emydura subglobosa worrelli

A common turtle in the upper reaches of rivers of northern Australia, from Daly River to western Cape York Peninsula.

A prominent yellow, salmon or red stripe extends from the snout to behind the eye. Sometimes considered a full species.
